Threshing

Most of the Egyptian farmers thresh their grains (wheat, barley at the thresh places using threshing machines. But only some of them especially in upper Egypt are still using the old method (Threshing sledge-Nawrag) to thresh the harvested crop and then winnowing it in the wind.

Crop is stored in the rural area directly after threshing. At thresh places, commodities are subject to rodent- and bird attack.
